not a Facebook RIP

I've been looking a lot into the ideas of how people respond to the death of someone through Facebook. It seems as if people as intimate as good friends and family keep their loved ones alive through their Facebook pages. Being 'friends' with someone on Facebook after they die seems a little morbid to me. I don't understand why people feel it necessary to post on a dead persons wall even after a year of their death. I guess it gives them a feeling of closure (?) But why would you write on their public Facebook wall. When they die do they still keep their log in and check their notifications?? The way people post sure seems like they do.

I'm just stopping by to say hey! Been thinking about you alot lately, and missing you like crazy. Keep watching down of everyone, we all still love you♥

We went up to the mountains last weekend and had a great time swimming in the river. We had a huge rain storm that helped out a bunch. I miss you up there and have been thinking about how you use to come ride dirt bikes with us. ♥ u

I know how much you love animals so will you please look for my Odie and give him some extra special love. He went fast and unexpectedly like you did. I know God takes the best back sooner and he took both of you too soon. Give him some love for me and he'll be a great companion for you too.
